"Finally" he thought to himself as they reached the station. The 5 hour long train journey had taken its toll. Little did he know it was about to get worse.
The hot weather, the sheer amount of people was new to him. Slowly but painfully, he picked up both his bags while Akho was busy folding his headphones and getting his bag ready, they made their way out of the train, out of the station.
Under the shade of the building, he booked a cab.

Under the shade of the building, he booked a cab.
It was a short journey of just 10 minutes, he and Akho had reached his new home, "Impulse Boys Hostel". Outside the main gate, with Akho guarding their luggage he dialed the hostel owner and told him he had arrived. After waiting for 5 minutes a thin, short guy, who later turned out to be the cook, came down the stairs, opened the gate, called them in and led them up the stairs and sat them in the dining hall. The owner called him up and he had a short talk and finally the cook led him to his room. The first Room. As soon as he entered the room, his eyes saw a Bible on one of the bed. He felt a huge relief."Must be a tribal, maybe from my place" he thought. Feeling dazed and sweaty, he took off his shoes and pants and took his towel and went to the bathroom to freshen up. The way leading to the bathroom made him felt like he was in 'The Maze Runner'.
Coming back to his room, he found Akho laying under the fan, cooling off. Akho took the Towel from his hand and went to the bathroom to freshen up. He opened up the window and looked around the room, soaking it all in. His new life here. His room was actually a huge room partitioned by a plywood and turned into a room and a hallway to the dining hall from the other side of the plywood partition. Lost in his thoughts when Akho barged into the room, refreshed with new found energy. Slowly he chose his bed on the far end of the room and laid their luggage on the bed and changed to a more comfortable pair of clothing. The cook came in and asked him if he would be doing his hostel admission today to which he replied, "tomorrow. I won't be staying here tonight." The cook said "okay" and left them. Akho phoned Shawn and asked for his address. They booked a cab for Shawn's place and just before getting into the cab, he had one last look at the hostel building, the gate, the paved road, soaking it all in. This hostel would be his home for the next 4,5 months.
Hanging out with Shawn, Akho and Jo in Shawn's room, made all of them nostalgic about their college life. Their hangout spots in the jungles above their college. They were talking and bathing turn by turn because of the hot weather even though it was already 4 PM. He was wondering if he would be able to adjust to the hot weather. Slowly, the four of them made their way out of Shawn's room to a hotel to have dinner. The small hotel, situated in the corner of a busy road was one of the few places where they could get pork dish in this huge city.
Dinner done, the boys made their way to check out a few shopping malls, just to kill time before they went back to Shawn's room for a little bit of drinking.
7 A.M. He was the first to get up. His head, feeling like it was about to explode. He could still smell alcohol on his breath. He had a huge hangover from all the drinking of the past night. With nothing to do and all his friends still sleeping, he took his phone and watched a movie waiting for anyone to get up so that he could go and have tea and do something about his Hangover. A few minutes in, Akho had woken up.
These two guys were his roommates and he wondered if they'l be friends.
Little did he know what adventures awaited him!
